Marie B. Macomber

CENTER BARNSTEAD- Mrs. Marie (Ethridge) Macomber, 74, of Center Barnstead, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a long illness.
Born in Lowell, MA, Marie was the daughter of the late Horace and Doris (Silloway) Ethridge. She was raised and educated in Londonderry and was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy Class of 1968.
Marie worked for many years in the insurance industry as an insurance broker before retiring in 1999.
Her dream turned into reality when in 2000, she and her husband moved to Center Barnstead and were able to own horses and farm animals. She had a special love for her horses.
In addition to her parents, Marie was predeceased by a granddaughter.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Ed Macomber; her children: Patricia Colby of Allenstown, Stacy DeVanna of Alton, Meagan Macomber of Alton and Shawn Macomber of Miami, FL; her siblings: Linda Auciello of Ocala, FL, Tom Ethridge of Manchester and Rick Morrisette of Londonderry; as well as her 13 grandchildren.
