Marie Nelson Obituary

Born in Mississippi to the late Tony Suggs and Lozel Boose Suggs, she had been the wife of Roland Nelson. Marie moved from the south to New Jersey with her family during her youth. She had been most recently been employed as a Bus Aide with Sheppard Bus, prior to that she had worked for Comar Glass in Millville, as a Nurses Aide for the Vineland State School and many other local facilities. She had stopped working for several years between to preform her most important job, raising her family.
In her free time, she enjoyed and diligently read her Bible. Her faith was very important to her and she was an active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Vineland. She also enjoyed watching old Western's, especially Bonanaza and Gunsmoke. Marie had a love for music and enjoyed Motown most of all, her favorites being Joe Tex and Marvin Gaye.
She is survived by; husband, Roland Nelson; children, Gerald Foster, Savannah Leak, Destin Wood, Bryant Nelson, Dennis Nelson, Carol Nelson and Ciani Nelson; and ten siblings. She was preceded in death by; her parents, Tony and Lozel Suggs; and seven siblings.
Friends are invited to a viewing at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Wednesday, June 4th from 10AM to 11AM.
