WORCESTER-Marie E. (Goodrich) Nichols,81, passed away Saturday, February 22 surrounded by her family.

Her husband of 33 years, Richard Nichols died in 2011. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Tina M. Martin and her husband, Craig of Worcester; three grandchildren, Christina Laudon, Christopher Holmes and his wife Dina, Craig Martin and four great-grandchildren, Gabriel Laudon, Gracie Laudon, Sophia Holmes and Kaelyn Lechiara. Three brothers, Richard Goodrich, Joseph “Al” Goodrich and Francis Goodrich predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of David A. and Marie J. (Hebert) Goodrich.

Marie worked as a certified nurse’s aide for many years. She enjoyed watching the Red Sox and considered herself their number 1 fan. She loved dancing at the Tuttle Post with her friends and playing bingo. But most of all Marie loved spending time with her family, especially at family birthday parties.

Visting Hours are Thursday, February 27 from 4 to 7pm with a Prayer Service at 630pm in Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org
