Mariletha “Letha” C Ballard
Mariletha Ballard, 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 24, 2024.
Mariletha was born to William and Marie Churchill in Woodsboro, Texas August 16, 1940. Mariletha grew up in Hico, Texas where she met Bryce Ballard, On March 28, 1958, she married the love of her life Bryce Ballard in a double wedding in Hico, Texas. Together they had three beautiful children Randy, Sherry, and David Ballard. Mariletha was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mariletha loved her children, but her greatest joy was being promoted to “Grandma”. Mariletha could be found spoiling her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and finding a good garage sale. Mariletha retired from Antena Products in Mineral Wells, TX in 2001 to care for her husband Bryce Ballard.
Mariletha is reunited with her loving parents William and Marie Churchill, The love of her life Bryce Ballard, son Randy Ballard, brother William R Churchill, brother A.B “Bud” Churchill, sister Marietta Brister, and grandson John Radford.
Mariletha leaves a legacy of love to her daughter Sherry Woods of Granbury, TX, son David Ballard and wife Christy of Mineral Wells, TX. Daughter in law Betty Ballard of the late Randy Ballard of Mingus, TX, 3 sisters Marie Churchill of Baton Rauge, LA, Marcilene Hampton of Ft Worth, TX, Alyce Suddreth of Bangs, TX, One brother Winston Churchill of McGregore, TX. Grandchildren Chay Behrens and wife Barbara of Tolar, TX, Christie Collins and husband Kevin of Everton, AR, Tiffany Tretter and husband LG of Mingus, TX, Jennifer Ballard of Mingus, TX, Skylar Ballard and wife Erin of Santo, TX, Baillie Martinez and husband Thomas of Mineral Wells, TX, and Alyssa Gober and husband Timothy of Mineral Wells, TX. Mariletha also leaves a legacy of love to her Great grandchildren and Great - Great grandchildren.
Mariletha touched the lives of so many with a loving and caring heart.

Funeral services will be held September 30, 2024 at Baum-Carlock-Baumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells, Tx at 2pm.
