Marilyn Jean Allen (Rhodes) ObituaryNiagara- Marilyn J. Allen, 98, of Niagara, Wisc., passed away Monday, October 20, 2025, at Maryhill Manor, Niagara, Wisc.
She was born April 24, 1927, in Medford, Wisc., daughter of the late Lester and Maude (Doughty) Rhodes. Marilyn grew up and graduated high school in Niagara. In 1947, she was united in marriage to William H. Allen. He preceded her in death on June 26, 2003.
Marilyn was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church in Niagara as well as the Red Hats. She was also a member of the AWOL Girls (retired "Mill" girls), the Hi-Low Club and the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her daughter, Priscilla (Chuck) Dittbenner, Pembine, Wisc.; one son, Roger (Jeri) Allen, Niagara, Wisc.; five grandchildren, Charles (Bonnie), Andrew (Stephanie), Michael (Nicholas), Nate (Amber) and Ben (Jen); and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by three brothers, Fred, Roland, and Stanley Rhodes; one sister, Ruth Rhodes.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Riverside United Methodist Church. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Pastor Debra Spira will officiate. Burial will take place in the Niagara Cemetery, Niagara, Wisc.
