Marilyn J. Brown, age 86 of New Paris, Preble County, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026, Rosebud Village in Richmond, Indiana. Marilyn was born on January 24, 1939, in Preble County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Forrest Lawrence & Mabel L. (Schneider) Campbell. Marilyn was a 1957 Jackson High School graduate and President of her class. She had worked at the Richmond State Hospital.
Proceeded in death by son David Bane in 2013.
Survivors include her sons: Phillip E. Wilt of Florida and Jerome L. Wilt of New Paris, Ohio; Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
A Remembrance Gathering and Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 12, 2026, at State Line Cemetery 3198 Stateline Road South – Richmond, Indiana.
