Marilyn Therese Cole, age 83, passed away peacefully at home on April 20, 2025. She was born on June 29, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Frederick S. and Marie (Temko) Kidd, Sr.
Marilyn was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She dearly loved her family and was proud of them. She enjoyed craft beers and a wry sense of humor.
She is survived by her six children, Judy (Thomas) Dority, Therese M. Culver, Edwin F. (Jayne) Cole, Ralph L. (Bonnie) Cole, Jr., Thomas A. (Christie) Cole, Carol A. (Justin) Looymans; her grandchildren, Mary (Chris) Harris, Jennifer Shaffier, Brian (Paige) Hall, Kevin (Taylor) Hall, Jesse Campbell, Paxton Cole, Harrison Cole, Christopher (Nicole) Cole, Kaellan Cole, Kian Cole, Jessica (Aboud) Tabel, Lyndsey Cole, David Cole, Christian Looymans, and Willow Looymans; and her eleven great grandchildren.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of almost 29 years, Ralph Lawrence Cole, Sr.; and two brothers, Robert Kidd and Frederick S. Kidd, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 28, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina, Ohio 44256. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 6:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest later with her husband Ralph at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Brook Park.
