DiRezze, Marilyn Sue - Age 60, of Linden, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday, March 6, 2023 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton (A live stream of the Mass will be available on Marilyn's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Visitation will be held at the church Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Marilyn was born April 19, 1962 in Dearborn, the daughter of John Lawrence and Marjory Lois (McKiddie) Callahan. She was a 1980 graduate of Crestwood High School in Dearborn Heights; she received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Michigan Dearborn; and her Juris Doctorate Degree from Michigan State University College of Law. She married Mark DiRezze April 13, 1981 in Garden City. Marilyn had resided in Linden for the past 22 years coming from Holly and Garden City. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, golfing, gardening, art and craft, making jewelry and sewing.
Surviving are: her husband, Mark; son, Mark John (Anne) DiRezze of Hartland; grandchildren, Alexander and Sophia; sister, Debbie McLean of Fenton; mother-in-law, Lucia and Richard Borowski of Novi; step mother-in-law, Adele DiRezze of Clinton Township; brothers-in-law, Bill Masters, Anthony Borowski, and Mario, Don, John, Andrew and Eric DiRezze; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marjory Callahan; sister, Linda Masters; and mother and stepfather, Marjory and Daniel Neary. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
