Marilyn L. Duschl, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on October 1, 1932, in Pennsylvania, Marilyn was a devoted secretary for her local church, where she touched the lives of many through her kindness and commitment to her community.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her cherished husband, John Duschl Sr., and her late sons, Edward Dettmore, Joseph Dettmore, and Donald Robinson. She is survived by her loving children: William Robinson and his wife Samantha, and Doreen Jones and her husband Charlie. Marilyn found joy in her role as a grandmother to C.J., Joshua, Tabatha, Jamie, Josh, and Broc, and she was a proud great-grandmother to 12 beautiful great-grandchildren. She was also a dear sister to Jack and Doris and was surrounded by the love of many friends and family who will remember her fondly.
Marilyn's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and a genuine compassion for others. Her warm spirit and nurturing heart made her a guiding light in the lives of those who were lucky enough to know her. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and kindness will endure.
Funeral services in her honor will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk. A public viewing will take place on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 5-8 PM. A funeral service celebrating her life will be conducted the following day, June 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM, with a graveside service to follow at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the American Cancer Society or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, honoring Marilyn's compassionate spirit and her desire to help others even after her passing.
