Marilyn K. (Love) Mink, age 69, of Palmyra, IN, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2024, at Guerin Woods in Georgetown, IN.
Born on June 29, 1955, to Jarold Phillip and Doris Mae (Wilson) Love in New Albany, IN, Marilyn was a proud 1973 graduate of North Harrison High School. She furthered her education at Spencerian College and attended Indiana University Southeast. A devoted member of the Palmyra Church of Christ, Marilyn cherished her community and her family. She was a member of the Palmyra Cemetery Board and Buffalo Trace Park Advisory Board. Marilyn was an avid walker, often seen enjoying the trails at Buffalo Trace Park. Along with her husband Larry, she passionately supported the University of Kentucky basketball team and had a fondness for NASCAR racing and trips to Tennessee.
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of forty-three years, Larry Mink; her sister, Connie (Tony) Love-Richards; and her twin brother, Merrill "Buddy" (Debbie) Love, all of Palmyra, IN. She is also survived by her two stepchildren, Missy and Josh Mink of Jeffersonville, IN; three step-grandchildren; two great step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-grandson, Caleb Mink.

Marilyn was a second mom to me, I never thought of her as a stepmom. I loved her very much and thank God for putting her in my life. She was also a great grandma.
