Holly Rose Goodwin, age 63, of New Salisbury, IN, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 10, 2025.
Born on March 22, 1961, in Corydon, IN, Holly was the daughter of Archie and Dossie (Henson) Davis. She attended North Harrison High School Class of 1979. Holly's career was marked by her dedication and hard work. She served as a bus driver for the North Harrison School Corporation and later worked as a truck driver for Advance Ready Mix in Louisville, KY, where she excelled and enjoyed her work. Holly was a member of Grace Tabernacle Church in Laconia, IN.
Holly had a passion for Hallmark TV Shows, but nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her father, Archie Davis, and her brother, Archie Davis.
Holly leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, Dossie Davis; sisters, Shirley (Jim) Snellen and Geneva (Paul) Barden; brothers, Terry (Terry) Davis and Jerome (Betty) Davis; sons, Scott (Theresa) Reed, Lyle Reed, and Keith (Katie) Goodwin; grandchildren, Caitlyn Reed, Lana Reed, Nate Reed, Collin Goodwin, Noah Goodwin, Averie Goodwin, and Archer Goodwin; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members.
Visitation will be held at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey, IN, on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Funeral services will follow on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 12:00 PM. Burial will take place at Central Barren Cemetery.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Butterfly Transformation House at 11562 Jackson St. Laconia, IN 47135, or to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
