Richard Dale Saylor, age 60, of Dexter, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025.

He was born on November 2, 1964, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Delbert and Elenora Saylor. Richard was a 1984 graduate of North Harrison High School. He worked for many years as a contractor, contributing his skills to a variety of projects throughout his career.

On June 21, 1986, Richard married the love of his life, Barbara (Zimmerman) Saylor. Together, they built a life filled with love, faith, and family. Richard was a member of Lincoln Hills Christian Church in Corydon, Indiana, where he found fellowship and strength in his faith.

Richard enjoyed the simple pleasures in life-fishing, camping, and spending time with his family and friends. He was known for his kind heart, hardworking nature, and his devotion to those he loved.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Donald Saylor and Nelson Saylor.

Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Saylor; his children, Justin Saylor, Jason Saylor, and Katherine Saylor; his brother, Mike (Sharon) Saylor; his sister, Sharon Saylor; as well as several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, Indiana.

Funeral Service will be held on the same day at 3pm.

Cremation was chosen and will follow the services.
