Marilyn J. St. Louis, age 96, of Ocala, Florida, formerly of Bradley, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024, at her daughter's home in Dunnellon, Florida. She was born December 4, 1927, in Kankakee, the daughter of Delor "Cubby" & Lauretta (Mailloux) Martin.
Marilyn was an avid golfer and played for many years at the Elk's Country Club and worked for many years at Bon Marche in Kankakee. While living in Florida, she was a member and past president of the Ocala Duplicate Bridge Club and Bridge Lodge, past volunteer at Brothers Keeper, past president of Quayle Creek Ladies Golf Association and a member of Golden Hills Country Club.
Surviving are two daughters, Victoria (Gerry) Therien of Columbia, MO and Stephanie (Russ) Vollmer of Dunnellon, FL; one son, Bruce (Christine) Breault of St. Anne; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Claudia Jones of The Villages, FL; and her constant canine companion, Casey. Preceding her in death were her parents; four brothers, Leonard "Shakey", Richard, Paul, and infant brother, Albert; three sisters, Dolores Smith, Theresa Devine, and infant daughter, Shirley Martin; three husbands, Milton Breault, Dr. Ralph Johanson, and Col. Ronald St. Louis.
Visitation will be held from 9-10:45 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Bourbonnais. Memorials may be made to the family wishes.
