COSHOCTON- Marilyn L. Wilson, 77, died Monday, May 5, 2025 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.
She was born June 4, 1947 in Coshocton to the late Harold and Wanita (Deeds) Cognion. She was a 1965 graduate of Ridgewood High School, and on Nov. 6, 1966 she married Kenneth A. "Kenny" Wilson. He preceded her in death April 19, 2017.
She worked at various companies over the years, including Edmont's, Longaberger, and the former Coshocton Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was an excellent housewife, who enjoyed sewing, cooking, and baking. In times of good health, she was very active at her church, New Life Ministries in Coshocton.
She is survived by three children, Thomas Wilson, Mike (Andrea) Wilson, and Patricia Wilson, all of Coshocton; five grandchildren, Raven (Colten) Kelso, Austin Wilson, Brianna Wilson, Zack Burns, and Kaliyah Johns; three great-grandchildren, Hannah Wilson, Waylon & Georgie Kelso; sister-in-law, Carol Cognion of Coshocton; and her canine companion, "Daisy".
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Cognion, and Fred Deeds; and a sister, Carolyn Foster.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. FischerFuneralHome.com
