Mario Alberto Castillo, Jr.

With humble acceptance of God's will, and with great sorrow we announce the passing of Mario Alberto Castillo Jr. He passed away peacefully on Saturday December 30th, 2023 at the age of 22 years, surrounded by his loved ones. Mario was born March 23, 2001 in Pasadena Tx. He was the son of Rosa Icela Castillo and youngest brother of Karen Castillo and Sheyla Castillo. Mario was a very special soul who faced many challenges throughout his life due to his multiple genetic conditions, but despite his disabilities there was never a dull day or moment for Mario. He constantly reminded everyone around him of strength, love and the power of faith. Mario, his mother and sisters worked hard to confront his weaknesses and grow his strengths. Over the years Mario made so much progress in his health and accomplished things that we were told he would never be able to do. During his 22 years of life besides us, Mario Attended Sam Rayburn high school and was part of the graduating class of 2021. He was the happiest boy, he always had a smile on his face that would bright up the whole room and turn your day around. He enjoyed playing with all his stuffed animals, watching movies, Toy story being his favorite one and let’s not forget how much he loved playing with all his colorful beads. Although he didn’t like loud noises or music he enjoyed his mom and sisters singing to him. He was also a silent trouble maker, when he was quiet we knew he was up to something. His favorite person was his lovely mother, who since the day he was born she dedicated her whole life to him to make sure he was well taken care of in every aspect of his life. As you can imagine the Castillo family was unprepared for this unexpected loss, but are at peace knowing that God has taken his son home to rest and to start his new life in heaven. We know he will be a guardian angel to our family. Mario left a piece of him in all of us as well as took a piece of us with him. He was definitely a bright spark in this world who touched the lives of so many and taught us many lessons. We will deeply miss our precious Angel who enriched and made our lives better with his presence. Mario I hope you know that your life was a blessing, and your memory a treasure that we will keep forever in our hearts. 

 

Con humilde aceptación de la voluntad de Dios, y con gran dolor anunciamos el fallecimiento de Mario Alberto Castillo Jr. Quien falleció pacíficamente el sábado 30 de Diciembre del 2023 a la edad de 22 años, rodeado de sus seres queridos. Mario nació el 23 de Marzo del 2001 en Pasadena Tx. Era hijo de Rosa Icela Castillo y hermano menor de Karen Castillo y Sheyla Castillo. Mario era un alma muy especial que enfrentó muchos desafíos a lo largo de su vida debido a sus múltiples condiciones genéticas, pero a pesar de sus discapacidades nunca hubo un día o momento triste para Mario. Nos recordaba constantemente a todos los que lo rodeaban la fuerza, el amor y el poder de la fe. Mario, su madre y sus hermanas trabajaron duro para confrontar sus debilidades y desarrollar sus fortalezas. A lo largo de los años, Mario progresó tanto en su salud y logró cosas que nos dijeron que nunca podría hacer. Durante sus 22 años a nuestro lado Mario asistió a la escuela Preparatoria Sam Rayburn High School y fue parte de la Clase de graduación del 2021. El era el niño más feliz, siempre tenía una sonrisa en su rostro que iluminaba toda la habitation y cambiaba tu día por completo. El disfrutaba jugar con todos sus peluches, ver películas, siendo Toy Story su favorita y no olvidemos lo mucho que le encantaba jugar con todos sus collares de colores. Aunque no le gustaban los ruidos ni la música fuerte, el disfrutaba que su madre y sus hermanas le cantaran. También era un travieso silencioso, cuando estaba callado sabíamos que estaba tramando algo. Su persona favorita era su encantadora madre, quien desde el día en que el nació ella dedicó toda su vida a asegurarse de que él estuviera bien cuidado en todos los aspectos de su vida. Como puedes imaginar la familia Castillo no estaba preparada para esta pérdida inesperada, pero están en paz al saber que Dios se ha llevado a su hijo a casa para descansar y comenzar su nueva vida en el cielo. Sabemos que será un ángel guardián para nuestra familia. Mario dejó un pedazo de él en todos nosotros y también se llevó un pedazo de nosotros con él. Definitivamente fue una chispa brillante en este mundo que tocó las vidas de tantas personas y nos enseñó muchas lecciones. Extrañaremos profundamente a nuestro precioso Ángel que enriqueció y mejoró nuestras vidas con su presencia. Mario espero que sepas que tu vida fue una bendición, y tu memoria un tesoro que guardaremos en nuestros corazones por siempre.
