Mario was born in Bakersfield, California on December 31, 1984. Mario is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Ortega and is survived by his mother, Raquel Ortega, siblings, Antonio Ortega and Rosario Lopez, his nieces and nephews, as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025. Viewing and Rosary will be at Basham Funeral Home (3312 Niles St.) from 10:00am-12:00pm.
Church services will be at San Clamente Mission Parish (1305 Water St.) at 1:00pm. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Mario, please visit our Tree Store.
