Marioara Albutiu

Marioara Albutiu, affectionately known as Mia or Buna, entered eternal rest with God on November 7, 2025, at the age of 91. Mia was born in Romania, before coming to the United States in 1990.
She was the beloved mother of Eugenia Gheorghiu and Eugen Mircea Mocoi, Bunica of Anca (Neil) Mitchell and the adoring Buna of Brendan, Amelia and Collin, who brought her immeasurable happiness and joy. She was preceded in death by her father, Ioan Albutiu, mother Rosalia Albutiu and sister Valeria Peles.
Mia missed her son, Mircea, dearly who resides currently in Romania. She loved nothing more than spending time with her great-grandchildren, who from the time they were babies she loved, comforted and cared for. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered by her family and all those that had the privilege of knowing her.
Visitation will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road, Clawson, Monday, November 10, 5-8pm. Saracusta 7pm. The Funeral Service will take place at St. Nicholas Romanian Orthodox Church, 5353 Livernois Road, Troy, Tuesday, November 11, 10am. Burial to follow in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
