Marion E. Keller
84, of Middletown, passed away after an extended illness Wednesday, April 12, 2023.
He was born January 25, 1939 in Verona, Ohio, to the late Jesse A. and Susie E. (Ridenour) Keller.
Marion is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Lou Frances Keller; children, Terry Keller, Randy (Denise) Keller, and Bethany (Duane) Poole; grandchildren, Jesse (Sara) Keller, Iva (Jamie) Phillips, Ashley (Ryan) Profitt, Diana (Solomon) Kessio, and Justin (Jordan) Poole; and 10 great grandchildren.
He was an avid wildlife enthusiast and spent much of his free time watching and observing various species of birds, animals, and insects in their natural habitats. Marion was also an outdoor enthusiast, and he loved nothing more than being out in nature. He was particularly fond of hunting mushrooms and had an uncanny ability to find the best spots for foraging. Marion also had a passion for driving, and he enjoyed taking his truck on long road trips through scenic routes and beautiful countryside. He was an excellent driver and always enjoyed the freedom and excitement of exploring new places behind the wheel. Another one of Marion's favorite activities was mowing grass. He took great pride in keeping his lawn immaculate and would often spend hours on end tending to it. Marion's lawn was the envy of his neighborhood, and he was known for his meticulous attention to detail. He will be remembered for his love of nature, his adventurous spirit, and his unwavering commitment to his family and friends. Marion's legacy will live on through the memories and experiences he shared with those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Private services will take place at the convenience of the family.
