Marion P. Miceli

Marion Patricia Miceli, nee Buoniconti passed away on December 11th 2025 in Niles IL. She was born on St Patrick's day in 1929. She was the only daughter of Frank and Dorothy Buoniconti owners of Ancona Bakery Chicago IL. She married Anthony S. Miceli (her brother John's best friend) on September 12th 1948. They were happily married until his death on September 25th 2013. Her brother John and her sister in law Henrietta took over Ancona Bakery upon her father's death. John and Henrietta preceded her in death.
Her loving children are Dorothy Boryk (late Michael Sherman), MaryAnn (Carl) Farinella and Anthony Miceli; Nana of Raquel (Angelo) Lambropoulos, late Kenneth Newton, Mariette (Edward) Kepes and Antonia (Nick) Mangiaracina; great grandmother of Trish Lambropoulos and Tina Lambropoulos (Danny Demirovic), Mike Oko, Winona Mangiaracina and Mack Kepes and great-great grandmother of Travis Demirovic; dear sister of the late John (late Henrietta) Buoniconti and fond sister in law of the late Catherine (late Frank) Fazio and fond aunt of Frank (Cheri) Buoniconti, Jack Fazio and Sandy (John) Helmich and many other grand nieces and nephews.
Growing up she sang in the school choir. When she became a mother she loved to sing Oh Danny Boy to her children on her St Patty's birthday. She dearly loved her family and many friends. Marion was a longtime resident of Niles IL.
Visitation Sunday, December 21st 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Colonial - Wojciechowski 8025 W. Golf Rd. (1/2 mile East of Milwaukee Ave.) Niles, IL. Funeral Monday beginning with 9:15 am prayers at the funeral home and processing to St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church. Mass 10:00 am. Interment Mt. Carmel.
