Marion Mudrie Obituary
Utica/ New York Mills
Marion A. Mudrie, 94, of the Masonic Care Community and formerly of New York Mills, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at the Masonic Care Community.
She was born on October 27, 1929, in Utica a daughter of the late Everett and Margaret (Eddy) Reynolds, Sr. She was educated in local schools. On January 23, 1956, she was united in marriage to John Mudrie Sr. Mr. Mudrie passed away in 1976.
She was employed at one time with General Electric, then with Hamilton Digital and later with Par Technology where she retired after many years of dedicated service. Marion loved dancing and an ice cold beer. She was often found teaching the employees at MCC her dance moves.
Marion is survived by her children, a daughter Bonita Reynolds of New York Mills, two sons, Michael & Debbie Mudrie of Barneveld, NY, and Walter Mudrie of Utica. She leaves 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Marion also leaves a brother Everett Reynolds of Gray, NY, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, John Mudrie, Jr., in 1968, two sisters, Margaret Lapaglia and Shirley Foster, and a brother, William Reynolds.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 2:00pm at Dimbleby Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Whitesboro, NY. Calling hours are from 12-2pm before the service. Burial will be private on Monday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
