Marion Patten Obituary

Marion was a kitchen helper at the Bedford Hills Elementary School in Bedford Hills, NY. She was an active member of both the Ladies Auxiliaries of VFW Post 5491 and American Legion Post 1080 in Mahopac. She was a friend to all who knew her, and she was loved by her friends and family.
She is survived by her nephews, Michael Russo of Doylestown, PA and Andrew Russo of Williston Park, NY. She was predeceased by her husband of thirty years, William J. Patten on June 5, 2001 and her sisters Alice Russo and Jean Juhrn.
Friends may call on Thursday, June 26 from 5-7 pm at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. VFW and American Legion Auxiliary services will commence at 5:30 pm followed by family remembrances. Per Marion's wishes, private cremation services took place earlier.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Marion to either VFW Post 5491 and/or American Legion Post 1080 in Mahopac or to the national VFW and American Legion organizations.
