Marion Steiger Obituary
Born in Rockaway Beach, Queens, NY, she was the daughter of Edward and Lillian Devlin. She worked for NY Tel as an Operator before she was married and became a Homemaker. Marion was a past member of the Mamakating Lioness Club and member of the mighty Mamakating Seniors and enjoyed their trips, especially to the casino. She enjoyed watching birds and wildlife. She also enjoyed long rides in the country.
Marion is survived by her children, Robert Steiger (Trish Korth) of Middletown, Susan McDermott (James) of Westtown, Kathy Grasse (Harlan Sarvis) of Pine Bush and William Steiger (Leah Bedell) of Pine Bush. Her Grandchildren, Matthew, Robert, James (Melanie), Syiera (Alex), Carly, Kayla, Steven, Elliott, Jason, Jayne and Dylan. Her Great-grandchildren, Maverick and Abigail. Sister-in-law, Bridget Devlin of Monroe and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Robert Steiger of 50 years, her brothers Bernard (Rose), Edward, and sister Winifred (James) Gunter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5th, 4-7p.m. at Martinez-Morse Funeral Home, 33 Railroad Ave, Middletown, NY. Graveside service will be held at Mount Hope Plains Cemetery, 15-21 Mount Hope Rd, Middletown, NY on April 6th, 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Port Jervis Humane Society, 202 US-209, Port Jervis, NY 12771, (845) 856-3677.

I was saddened to hear of Marion's passing, my sincere condolences go out to her family. She was a woman who was kind and left a warm feeling in the hearts of the people she interacted with.
