Mariusz was born in Poland on August 12, 1966. He and his family immigrated to Rhode Island in September 1971. He grew up in Coventry, RI and graduated from Bishop Hendricken High School in 1984. He married his wife Lynn (Jubin) on October 16, 1993. They lived in North Kingstown, RI before moving to Holland, MI in 1997. He was employed by J.B. Laboratories until 2005.
Mariusz enjoyed his cats and dogs, especially walking his dogs in the local county parks. He and Lynn enjoyed traveling and hiking in state and national parks. He also enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, heavy metal music, and watching his favorite New England sports teams.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years Lynn (Jubin), his parents Adam and Teresa Koziol, his brother John and his wife Holly, his brother Robert and his wife Edyta, his mother-in-law Noella Jubin, his sister-in-law Jill Miskelley her husband Steve, a nephew William, and niece Chelsea Garcia and her husband Jeremiah, and cousins in Poland.
