Marjorie Louise Allen, age 94 of Midland, passed away on Saturday May 3, 2025 at Medilodge in Midland. The daughter of the late Albion and Muriel (Brown) Swailes was born in Brown City, Michigan on March 10, 1931. Marjorie was employed with the United State Post Office for several years.
Surviving are her children, Connie Shelton, Clifton (Carol) Collins, Steven (Patti) Collins; stepchildren Becky (Lyle) Fulton, Perry (Danette) Allen, Penny Dowker, Craig (Sylvia)Allen; many grandchildren and great grandchildren along with a sister, Doris (Robert) Wood. In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Paul Allen; sisters Donna (Swailes) Howard and Phylis (Swailes) Cargill-Pickerel, and stepson, Brian C. Allen.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. with a burial service at Midland Memorial Gardens, 565 N. Meridian Rd., Midland 48640. Marjorie will be buried alongside her deceased husband, Paul C. Allen. After the Burial Service, family & friends will go to Midland Missionary Church, 479 S. Eleven Mile Rd., Midland to share memories. (food provided)
