Marjorie A. Bahlman

Marjorie Ann (Brose) Bahlman, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Valley VNA in Neenah. Marge was born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin on January 1, 1932, to the late Merlin and Octavia (Everard) Brose. She graduated in 1950 from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, and attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison. While in Madison, Marge met and later married Eugene Bahlman on August 30, 1952 and were married for almost 70 years prior to his passing.
Marge and Gene had six children. She was a devoted Mother/Homemaker, focused on raising their kids. Her interests included reading, playing bridge, bowling, needlepoint and knitting (especially Packers and Badgers sweaters), many of which she donated to the church and Boys and Girls Brigade. In addition, Marge enjoyed playing Scrabble daily during the summer months with her long-time friend and neighbor, Lois Kalfahs.
Marge was a member of St. Margaret Mary Parish since 1958, helping with funeral lunches and in later years attending daily Mass.
Marge is survived by her children: Tom (Jane), Jim (Margie), Bob (Lisa), Jack (Cindy), and Gene; son-in-law, (Phil) Codd; grandchildren: Becky, Christa (Tim), Katie (Jim), Mark, Matthew (Sam), Anna (Sam), and Maggie (Aaron); great-grandchildren: Kylah, Tommy, Nicole, Gianna, Anthony, Dominic, and Shepherd; her brother, Bob Brose; as well as other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Codd.
The Funeral Mass for Marge will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division Street, Neenah, Wisconsin 54956. Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until the hour of the Mass at the church. Interment will take place at St. Margaret Cemetery.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Eagle Point Senior Living in Appleton for the loving hospitality given to Marge for the 5 years she was there before moving to Valley VNA in Neenah. They would also like to thank the staff at Valley VNA as well as ThedaCare at Home Hospice for the kindness and compassionate care given to her and her family.
