Marjorie Key Highsmith, age 83, passed away on December 5, 2025, in Thomasville, Georgia. Marjorie was born on July 11, 1942, to Ernest and Myrtle Key in Coolidge, Georgia. She graduated from Thomasville High School, Class of 1960, and furthered her education by obtaining her LPN at Thomas Technical College.
Marjorie had a love for spending time at the beach and the mountains. She also enjoyed photography, gardening, painting, genealogy, and reading. She is survived by her sons, Patrick Highsmith of Buford, Georgia, and Kevin Highsmith of Boston, Georgia, one grandchild, and her sister, Judy Hutchinson of Boston, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kelly Highsmith, and her siblings, Gloria Carlin of Jacksonville, Billy Key of Thomasville, Doyle Key of Cordele, and Evelyn Lucas, of Thomasville.
The memorial service for Marjorie will be held at 11am on Wednesday, December 10th at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. Family, friends, and all who knew Marjorie are invited to celebrate her life and share memories.
