Marjorie passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025, at Santiam Hospital, just weeks after celebrating her 86th birthday, surrounded by love and memories.
Born on June 5, 1939, in Stayton to Claudie and Lucille (Johnson) Nash, Marjorie was a proud graduate of Stayton High School and a lifelong resident of her beloved hometown. Her roots in the community ran deep, and she spent over 60 years building a home filled with warmth, love, and laughter.
On May 16, 1960, Marjorie married the love of her life, Edward L. Schiewek. Together they shared 65 wonderful years of marriage, raising five cherished children: Debbie, Kevin, Laurie, Brad, and Byron. Marjorie was the heart of the family, her love for her children and her 11 grandchildren was unwavering and unconditional. She found her greatest joy was to spend time with family and friends.
Marjorie is survived by her devoted husband, Edward; her children, Debbie, Kevin, Laurie, Brad, and Byron; and her 11 beloved grandchildren.
Her memory will be treasured always.
