With profound sadness, we announce the passing of a devoted husband, loving father, and loyal friend whose vibrant spirit, big heart, and unwavering honesty left a lasting impression by everyone he met and knew.
Mark Eugene Albertson was born on December 1, 1980, to Deborah Denise Lance and Mark Dwayne Albertson in
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He passed from this life on December 4th, 2025. Mark lived for the people he loved. His wife and children were the center of his world, and he dedicated himself to providing for them, supporting them, and creating a home filled with love, laughter, strength, honesty, and warmth. His honesty – sometimes sharp, but always genuine – was one of his most defining qualities, and those who knew him best, valued his ability to speak the truth without hesitation. Mark made friends everywhere he went, often without even realizing how naturally people were drawn to him.
Mark found tremendous joy in golfing and fishing. Summer weekends meant early mornings, waking up at 5 am to meet his buddies for a round of golf at Hidden Creek Golf Course or wherever they could snag a tee time. And when he couldn't make it to the course, he'd be outside practicing his swing and enjoying the land he was so proud of.
One of Mark's favorite weekly traditions was Taco Tuesday. His Grandpa Tom would come over, and Mark loved to joke that it was the one day he was guaranteed a home-cooked meal. Those evenings were filled with stories, laughter, venting, and a closeness he treasured.
He was determined, skilled, and hardworking. He took pride in his craftsmanship, especially in his work with awnings, and he had a natural ability to master anything he set his mind to. His drive and dedication were evident in everything he accomplished.
He also had a soft spot for his dog, Daisy, who brought him endless comfort, joy, and companionship. Even when his wife dressed the pup in little outfits – much to his amusement – Mark couldn't help but feel sorry for his girl, shaking his head with a smile.
Mark is survived by his wife, Sarah Albertson; his children Morgan, Emily, Mark, and Angela; his siblings Melissa Myers, Ginger Green, and Tiffany Albertson; his Grandparents Reba and Tom Albertson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who he considered his brothers.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Denise Lance and his father, Mark Dwayne Albertson.
Strong-willed, big-hearted, and unforgettable, Mark will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His humor, his honesty, his hard work, and his love for his family and friends will continue to live on in the memories he leaves behind. He was a devoted Christian, and his family finds comfort knowing that his loving wife and children will one day see him again in Heaven, where they will be reunited in God's eternal peace.
May he rest in peace, forever surrounded by the love he gave so generously. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Mark, please visit our floral store.
