We just got the sad news, it obviously took some time to cross the ocean and arrive here in Germany.
My abilities in English come to their borders when I should express my grief in a foreign language. Our thoughts are with Mary Kay, Michelle and Doug. You were our starting point back in 1994 for a longlasting friendship with so many nice people in and around Cincinnati and your beautiful country. Funny, loving, caring Mark, rest in peace.

David Klusman & Family
December 27, 2025
Many memories have been shared of Mark, Dave and Ralph, known as the "weekend farmers"and how they faced some big challenges at the beginning of their venture, but overcame those multiple hurdles to provide a place for family recreation (in Laurel, IN). Their tenacity was observed and respected as they worked to make progress. But it was the friendship that developed in the interim and beyond that was (is) most cherished by the Klusman family. Mark would occasionally drop in to visit long after the property was sold, something treasured by "Norm" and Letty especially, and all of us were welcomed at special events and invited to join in celebrating milestones. Mark and his family would even accept us on occasion as unannounced guests, regardless of their active schedule, and always with graciousness and sincerity. Memorializing Mark, yet sad, is a privilege. Such a special family friend!
