Mark Thomas Brosnahan, 72, of Kansas City, Mo. passed peacefully September 12, 2025 at St. Lukes Hospice House. Mark was born and raised in Kansas City, Mo. He attended St. Charles Catholic School and Oak park High School and graduated in 1971. Mark was in the Army where he received several metals and ribbon/ national defense medals, overseas ribbon, army commendation medal/ good conduct badge/ Parachutist badge/ Driver and mechanic badge, expert army force parachutist badge/ German. He was honorably discharged. May 15,1991, He worked for union 31 in change of lighting and sound for events in Missouri and Kansas until his accident which forced his early retirement.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents Dorothy (Renner) and William Thomas Brosnahan. He is survived by his long-term partner Donna Altenhofen Buchanan, here sons Aaron (Christina) Evans, Michael Buchanan and three grandchildren Conner Evans and Aura Buchanan and Lavender McCollister. He also leaves two brothers Tim (Jennifer) and Christopher (Rhonda) Brosnahan, two nieces and two nephews, aunts and cousins.

I a Mark´s cousin from Texas. I always enjoyed visiting the Brosnahan boys during the summer in the 1960´s. He taught me the difference between a cherry bomb and a smoke bomb. RIP Mark.
