Mark Bumpurs, in loving trust and peace, returned to our Lord peacefully on Friday, July 30, 2021 in Lincoln, Massachusetts.
Mark was educated through Roxbury Community School as well as the Boston Public Schools. Mark graduated from the Jeremiah E. Burke High School in 1985. At an early age Mark accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and was Baptized in Jesus Name and was saved. On July 17, 2021, Mark rededicated his life to the Lord Jesus Christ. In the midst of Mark being diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer through his pain and cancer treatments he held on to his faith in the Lord.
Mark worked for Fidelity Investments, Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority the Ride and the ARC of Bristol County for 21 years. Mark was a kind, gentle caring person who gave of himself to others and putting himself last even until his final days. Mark enjoyed traveling, reading, listening to music and most importantly spending time with family and friends. Mark had a great sense of humor and the ability to make others laugh.
He leaves a host of loving family and friends to cherish his memories.

I just became aware of Mark's passing, 6 months later.
What a devastating loss. He was a neighbor who became a valued friend through our many late-night conversations after work. In his quiet and humble way he enhanced the lives of those who knew him, more than he realized. I always felt he was born to serve, to help. Without ever acknowledging it, he lived that mission with grace, willingness and dignity.
My sincere condolences to his sister, his niece, and other family members, and to the lovely Jessica Vohs.

I am so sorry to hear of Mark's passing. All of us lucky enough to have known him will miss him dearly. The Tringo family sends our deep condolences to Mark's family and dear Jessica and her family as well. Would that he had written a book on how to be like Mark. His legacy is our memories of all his stories and our time with him. We're all richer for that. Sent with love
