Mark H. Burmeister passed away on October 21, 2021. Born on October 5, 1932 in Iowa, he was predeceased by his beloved wife Phyllis (nee Gold). Mark was the loving father of Steven Mark Burmeister (Kathy), Mark Alan Burmeister (Linda), Randall Martin Burmeister, and Marta B. McGovern (Scott). He was also the proud grandfather of Erica, Laura, David, Alan, Craig, Paul, Emily, and Gillian and had six great grandchildren. Mark was a veteran of the US Air Force having proudly served his country during the Korean War. His professional life was spent working as an electrical and aerospace engineer for RCA. Mark's career with RCA included working on the Apollo Space Program which earned him the prestigious David Sarnoff Outstanding Achievement Award in 1970. He went on to obtain his MBA from Northeastern University, became the director of PRICE Systems, and ultimately retired as a GE employee. Mark was an avid bowler and enjoyed golfing with his wife throughout his retirement. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday October 29th from 10:30-11:30 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Funeral Service will begin at 11:30 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mark's name to the American Diabetes Association. www.diabetes.org
