Mark Chalker Obituary
A native of Gibson, Mark was the son of the late Bruster Albert Chalker and Billie Charline Chalker Wilkerson and JW Wilkerson. He was a truck driver for over 37 years and had most recently worked for Bales Trucking.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Donnetta Chalker of Gibson, sister, Charlotte (Adam) Wiggins of Mitchell, sons, Nick Chalker of Mitchell, & Michael (Mandi) Obney of Rentz, daughters, Traci (CJ) Kersey of Dublin, Alison (Roy) Palmer of Lincolnton, Melissa Obney of Gibson, Melanie Chalker of Gibson, sister & brother-in-love Bobbie & Jon Howard of Las Vegas, NV., nephews, Koby (Lorena) Kobetitsch of Gibson, Michael (Tonya) Clark of Mitchell, Jon (Samantha) Howard, Jr., of Las Vegas, NV., & Daniel Howard, of Las Vegas, NV., nieces, Justina Kobetitsch of Mitchell, & Kristi (Jon) Butler of Idaho. Uncle, Troy McNeal of Gibson, 12 grandchildren, several cousins, and many lifelong friends.
Services to celebrate the life of Mark will be held 6:00 PM Tuesday September 6, 2022, in the Sheppard Memorial Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Gibson with Rev. Ralph Kitchens officiating. The family will receive friends following the services.
Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Gibson is in charge of arrangements.
