Mark Russel Christian, 65, of Merrimack, NH passed away at Massachusetts General Hospital after a brief and unexpected illness.
Born in Lowell, MA he was the son of the late Henry and Doris (Mogé) Christian. Mark was raised in Dracut and attended Dracut Public Schools.
Mark is remembered by his family as being a soft, gentle, and kind person who always greeted everyone he met with his friendliness and big smile. He was known in his family as being the go to guy to help with all the family kids and enjoyed playing a role in helping raising his nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. Mark enjoyed having company over his house where he would enjoy cribbage games, watching NASCAR, and slot cars in his earlier days. Mark was a friend to all and was always willing to lend a hand wherever he could.
He is survived by his daughter and her husband, Cara and Pat Mascetti of Merrimack, NH, his brother Randy Christian of Nashua, NH, his sister Louise Christian of Lowell, MA, his five grandchildren; Riley Perrin, Ashlynn Mascetti, Ava Deamato-Mascetti, Alivyah Mascetti, Aisleigh Mascetti, his several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Mark was the brother of the late David Christian, Dean Christian, and Claire Napolitano.
Funeral Notice
Visitation hours will be held for Mark on Monday, April 15, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. at the Dolan Funeral Home, 106 Middlesex Street, N. Chelmsford, MA 01863. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford, MA on Tuesday April 16, 2024 at 11AM.
