Mark Ellis Collins

Memorial Services for Mr. Mark E. Collins, Sr.,69, of North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest October 25, 2025, will be conducted Thursday evening at 6 o'clock in the Posey Funeral Chapel. Dr. Randy Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 o'clock until the hour of the service.
Mr. Collins was a life-long resident of North Augusta. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of North Augusta and retired from Savannah River Nuclear Solutions as a Project Manager with 35 years of service. Mr. Collins coached all sports with the North Augusta Recreation Department and was an avid North Augusta Yellow Jacket football fan as well as the USC Gamecocks. He enjoyed weight-lifting and his dog, Spot.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Leigh Anne Collins; two sons, Mark (Amber) Collins and Parker (Katie) Collins both of North Augusta; four grandchildren, who called him, Gabo, Finley Collins, Harper Collins, Tanner Collins and Archie Collins; two brothers, Wayne (Anita) Collins and Matt (Denise) Collins, both of North Augusta; a sister, Katie Hall, Alabaster, AL.
