Mark William Erickson, 60, of Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey a beloved son, brother, and uncle passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Born in Ridgewood, Mark lived his entire life in Ho-Ho-Kus. Mark was a bright light in the lives of many. His smile and kindness shone through his every interaction.
Mark is survived by his mother and father, Robyn and Paul Erickson who cared for him and adored him his whole life. They will miss him dearly as he was very helpful to them.
Mark is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law Laurie and Paul Semendinger, his niece and nephews Krista and Lauren Erickson, Brandon Erickson, Ryan and Tiffany Semendinger, Alex Semendinger and his fiancé Perri Lomberg, Ethan Semendinger, and great nephew Braylon Erickson. Mark was met in Heaven by his grandparents and his brother and sister-in-law Rick and Patti Erickson.
Mark was a graduate of Midland Park High School, but he attended school through the Bergen County Special Services program. Mark also worked at the Bergen County Special Services Adult Program in Paramus.
Mark had the most wonderful smile and caring personality. He loved people. Every person was a friend to Mark. Mark was a world traveler, but he especially loved going to his family's beach house. Mark attended many stage productions and baseball games at Yankee Stadium.
Mark especially loved his family. He adored his sister.
There will be a private funeral service. Mark will be interred at George Washington Cemetery in Paramus.
In lieu of flowers, please donate generously in Mark's name to the St. Jude's Hospital for Children, a charity that meant the world to Mark.
