Mark D. Feeney

Mark D. Feeney of South Boston passed away on March 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Beloved husband of Donna (Ahern) Feeney and devoted father of Jack Feeney. Cherished brother of Jacky Feeney and his wife Donna of Rochester NH, the late Brian Feeney and his wife Patti, of Quincy MA. Loving son of the late John "Bucky "and Ruthie (Manning) Feeney. Beloved brother-in-law to Maureen Ahern of South Boston, MA., James (Jimmy) Ahern and his wife Julie of South Boston, MA., and Robert (Bobby) Ahern and his partner Lauren of Abington, MA. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mark's greatest pleasure was spending time with his family and friends. His sense of humor was infectious, his quick wit and fantastic storytelling was legendary. Mark was proud to be born and raised in South Boston, and he was a fierce and loyal friend to many.
Visitation will be at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester St., South Boston, on Thursday March 13th, from 4 - 8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Brigid Church, 841 East Broadway, South Boston on Friday, March 14th at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Funeral Mass may be live streamed at www.gateofheavenstbrigid.org. Interment private.
