Mark Anthony Fromme, a cherished father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025, in Anchorage, Alaska. Born on March 7, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio, Mark lived a fulfilling life marked by compassion, dedication, and a love for adventure.

Mark's journey began in the heart of Cleveland, where he was the beloved son of Frank J. Fromme and Jean J. Fromme (Kraft). His early years were filled with the warmth of family life and the foundations of the kind and generous spirit he would carry with him throughout his life. Mark's academic pursuits led him to earn a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Bowling Green State University and later, a Master's in Education from Kent State University. These achievements paved the way for his lifelong commitment to helping others.

Professionally, Mark was a dedicated counselor and guide, working to support special needs clients and troubled youth in both Ohio and Alaska. His optimistic outlook inspired many to overcome their challenges.

Proceeded in death by his parents and survived by ex-wife, Phyllis Stoneking, their children, Nathan and Morgan Fromme, his brother, Eric Fromme (Debbie), niece and nephews, Rachael (Chris), Ethan (Heather), and Karl. Mark's legacy of generosity and compassion continues through his family's lives.

Mark was proud of Nathan and Morgan for their achievements in education, Japanese language skills, athletics and music. An avid enthusiast of physical fitness, Mark could often be found lifting weights and staying active, embodying the vitality he believed so important. His love for literature was vast, with a particular fondness for science fiction and gritty real-life dramas.

Mark's connection to the great outdoors was evident in his joy for camping and dip-netting alongside his family. These moments in nature were treasured times of bonding and reflection. He enjoyed hiking, running with his dogs, and target shooting.

Above all, Mark's love for his Labradors, Sandy and Browning, was a testament to his gentle soul.

Kind, generous, and eternally optimistic, Mark lived a life that exemplified the best of the human spirit. His memory will be held in the hearts of those who knew him.
