Mark passed away Monday, September 27, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region with his family by his side, age 64. He was born February 10, 1957 in Bay City to the late Andrew L. and Shirley Ann (Neering) Gwizdala, Sr. Mark graduated from T.L. Handy High School in 1975 and was a former member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bay City. He married Debra J. Taylor on March 11, 1999 in Bay City and she survives him. Mark enjoyed golf, bowling, hunting, learning new things on his computer and working with technology. He loved and cherished his time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and dog Blondie.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Deb, four children: Angela (Dale) Gwizdala-Compau, Mark A. Gwizdala, Jr., Elliott (Stephanie) Schweinsberg and Patrick Schweinsberg (Amanda Garchow), seven grandchildren: Emma, Charlie, Madison, Aliana, JoJo, Jacob and Landon, siblings: Louis Gwizdala, Virginia Roupe, Ben (Debbie) Gwizdala, and Ron (Barb) Gwizdala, one sister-in-law Bonnie Gwizdala, Mark's mother-in-law Madonna Taylor, one brother-in-law Dale Taylor and his very best friend Gary (Carolyn) Defrain. Mark was predeceased by one brother Andy Gwizdala, Jr. and four sisters: Mary Louise, Darlene Joan, Victoria Lynn and Andrea.
The Funeral Service for Mark will be held Friday, October 1, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Ambrose Funeral Home. Sue and Randy Rausch will officiate and interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends and family will gather at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. www.ambrosefuneralchapel.com
