Rock Hill, SC - Mr. Mark Eugene Hinson, 58, of 2245 Franklin Street, Rock Hill, SC died Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Piedmont Medical Center.
Memorial service will be 4:00 pm Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home with Chaplain James Rozmiarek officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the US Marine Corp. The family will receive friends following the service. The family will also host a gathering of family and friends at 6:00 pm at the VFW, 732 West Main Street, Rock Hill, SC. Burial will be 11:00 am Friday, March 28, 2025, at Forest Hill Cemetery, Rock Hill, SC.
A native of Rock Hill, SC Mr. Hinson was a son of the late Charles Eugene Hinson and Marcene Curtis Hinson. Mark was the owner of Mark’s Cool Doctor Heating and Cooling. He served his country faithfully as a United States Marine. He served the citizens of Rock Hill as a member of the Rock Hill Police Department. He will be remembered as an avid guitar player who performed with multiple bands and worship groups. He loved playing golf with his son, riding motorcycles, and watching football, especially the Carolina Panthers. He also loved family trips, beach outings, and camping.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra Dehler Hinson; a son, Cole E. Hinson of Rock Hill; a brother, Jack Jackson of Rock Hill; a sister-in-law, Betsy Jackson; nephew, Drew Jackson and his wife, Lindsay Jackson; sister-in-law, Claudia Dehler-Rozmiarek; mother-in-law, Emilie Dehler, brother-in-law, James Rozmiarek; and niece, Virginia Fowler.
