Mark Allen Hinton

Mark Allen Hinton, 62, of Seymour passed away on August 8, 2024, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Mark was born on June 19, 1962, in Seymour, Indiana to James and Gracie (Hobson) Hinton. He was a 1980 graduate of Seymour High School. He was a welder by trade and had been in the welding and metal fabrication business for over 45 years. In that time, he co-owned, Hinton Metal Fabricating and HMF, Inc. Most recently, Mark had been a welder for Crane Hill Machine. In his free time, Mark loved all types of sports, especially the Hoosiers and the Steelers. He loved to go to the dirt track races, play Euchre and go camping. Most of all, Mark was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved his family very much.
Mark is survived by his wife, Christie (McKinney) Hinton; sons: James and Ryan Hinton; daughter, Brittany (Ashley) Meagher; sister, Beverly Havron; grandchildren: Rylan Hinton, Xander Hinton, Zayden Hinton and Nolan Meagher; brother-in-law, Jeff McKinney; nephew, Christopher (Summer) Havron; two great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Steven Hinton.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Voss & Sons Funeral and Cremation Service, 316 North Chestnut Street, Seymour with the Reverend Philip Bloch officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in care of Voss & Sons Funeral and Cremation Service.
