Mark A. Jukich, 73, of Massillon, passed away on February 15, 2025 at Allay Senior Care.
He was born on July 2, 1951 in Massillon to the late Robert and Mary Jukich.
Mark was a 1969 graduate of Perry High School, and continued his education at the University of Minnesota where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry. He spent the majority of his career at the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District where he retired in 2010 after 35 years of service as the Chief of Conservation.
Mark loved the outdoors and nature. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and traveling, having many adventures with good friends Linn and John Morris and Connie Dumoulin and Mike Robey. Mark enjoyed following many sports, including hockey, Buckeye and Gopher football, and all Cleveland teams. Mark was dedicated to his family and friends. He was a member of the Society of American Foresters, the Ohio Association of American Foresters, where he held the position of Secretary from 1985-1986. He volunteered with the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad and Aunt Susie’s Cancer Wellness Center.
Mark is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Chris Jukich; daughter, Megan Jukich (Ulysses Smith); siblings, Marcy (James) Stalder, Robert Jukich, and Vanessa (Jack) Habinak; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon, Ohio, followed by a Celebration of Mark's Life at 1:00 pm with Tina Siroki, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Alzheimer’s Association www.alz.org, The Nature Conservancy www.nature.org/supportohio, or a charity of your choice that is near and dear to your heart.
