Stephan Brodeur & the Brodeur Family
Yesterday
My condolences to the Langton Family, so sorry to learn of Mark´s passing. A "spot on" and beautifully written obituary, I´m even more impressed to learn of Mark's many volunteer involvements that I was not aware of. I´ll share one of Mark´s many kindnesses, several years ago our family was renovating our grandparents´ summer rentals in Old Lyme. Running behind schedule, the interior insulation needed to be installed over the weekend with the drywall contractors scheduled to arrive early Monday morning, there was not enough time to finish the insulating. Mark somehow learned of our dilemma and didn´t hesitate. He arrived with his own equipment and worked tirelessly with our family late into Sunday evening until the insulation was completely installed. What a "Life Saver"! What a Friend! Thank you for your Friendship Mark!

Mark seemed to have endless energy in all his volunteering at the Cromwell Fire Department.
Santa Run, Flower Sale, Christmas Tree sale. He seemed to be a full timer at a part time volunteer job.
He reminded me of the EMS week breakfast that was on a Saturday.
I told him that I had to work in Hartford and could he deliver mine.
He said okay.
That Saturday, he brought my breakfast to Hartford.
That was Mark, doing that extra effort for others.

Mark, it was a pleasure working with you at the MBOE. I treasure your kindness; always caring about others. Your stash of chocolate candies helped us get thru the day! Rest in peace. Condolences to your family.
Sincerely, Lucy Gennuso
