Mark Henry Maheu, 51, of Willimantic passed away Monday November 3, 2025. He is the son of Wayne H. and Sandra (Greene) Maheu of Niantic.
Born on October 12, 1974 in Willimantic, CT he was a lifelong resident and graduated from Windham High School in 1992. He was co-captain of the Windham High Football Team and played first base for the Windham High Baseball Team. He worked as a personal care assistant for the Center For Transitional Living. He enjoyed reggae music, was an avid Red Sox Fan, loved the Raiders and UCONN sports teams. He enjoyed making people laugh and was always looking for a "gotcha moment".
Besides his parents, he is survived by several uncles, aunts and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Christie Ann Maheu and a brother, David Wayne Maheu both who passed away from cystic fibrosis.
Relatives and friends may visit on Wednesday Nov 12, from 8:30 to 9:30AM at Bacon Funeral Home 71 Prospect St, Willimantic followed by a Mass at 10AM at St. Joseph Church 99 Jackson St, Willimantic. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
