Mark John McClain

Mark John McClain, 61, passed away on September 15, 2025 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born in Tacoma, Washington. Mark moved to Prescott at a very young age where he graduated from Prescott High School in 1982 and went on to college at Yavapai Community College. He then began his career in Law Enforcement, working until his passing. Mark is survived by his loving wife Laura, children Carter McClain, Ryan Rehbach, Brandon Rehbach, grandchild Brielle. Dad and stepmom Jim and Conni McClain, mom Jeanne McClain. Mark enjoyed playing baseball in high school, earning all-Conference shortstop position, and Honorable mention on the All-State Team. He continued playing ball in college, and played in the Coach's All-State Game at ASU. He also enjoyed playing fast pitch at Ken Lindley field with teams from all over the state. He was happy coaching little league with the kids and playing golf with his buddies. Mark was very dedicated to his career and the community with Law Enforcement, working several different areas of the law. He lived and served the community and wanted to protect all. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday October 4, 2025, at 11:00am at Heights Church 2121 Larry Caldwell Drive Prescott, AZ, with reception following at the Church In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Prescott Police Dept.
