PRINCETON JUNCTION - MARK MEADE passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021, at Princeton Medical Center, Plainsboro. He was 77.
Born in Brooklyn, NY he resided in East Windsor before moving to Princeton Junction in 2000.
He attended New Utrecht High School and Brooklyn College and was a business owner of Meade & Associates Promotional Consultants.
He was happiest when he was surrounded by his family. He loved spending time with his children and grandsons. Family was always Mark's number one priority.
Mark loved the New York Giants and was a season ticket holder for 55 years with his brother, Harvey. They were siblings with a unique and unbreakable bond.
He had an infinite circle of friends and an infectious personality. Anyone who knew Mark, loved and respected him.
In 2008, Mark received the gift of life; a new heart, after suffering from heart disease for many years. It allowed Mark and Terry the opportunity to give back, pay it forward and honor the anonymous donor by sharing their story with thousands of people to raise awareness of the critical need for organ and tissue donation. They were passionate volunteers with the NJ Sharing Network, The Gift of Life Donor Program, American Heart Association and American Diabetes Association.
Surviving are his loving wife and partner of 56 years, Terry, and their children; Cindy Stoney and her husband, Bill, of Jackson and Scott Meade of Atlantic City; grandsons, Brandon Stoney, Jared Stoney and Andrew Meade, and brother, Harvey Meade and his wife, Terry, of Cranbury. He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Bertha Meade.
Services will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at 10:45AM, at Mount Sinai Cemetery, Route 79, Marlboro, under the direction of MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, East Brunswick. For directions, please visit the 'Services' page.
