Mark Alan Nichols went to be with his Savior Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at sixty six years old. Mark, known to most as either Nick, My Mark, Dad, Papa Mark, Uncle Mark, or Pool boy was a loving son, brother, husband, dad, uncle, and Papa, and friend. Mark Alan Nichols was born on Nov 17, 1955 at Hickam, AFB Hawaii to John D. and Morene Evans Nichols. He spent his early childhood in Hawaii and Virginia before settling down in Midwest City in 1963 when his dad transferred to Tinker Air Force. Mark attended MidDel schools and graduated from MCHS in 1974. He went on to graduate from Oklahoma State University of Technology (formally named Okmulgee Tech) with a degree in graphic design and digital printing. Mark worked for a couple of corporate printing companies before opening and co-owning Digital Graphics for 20+ years. Mark's love for cars and all things mechanical led him to a second career at NAPA. He really enjoyed talking with his co-workers, helping customers and trying to trouble shoot whatever issues they were having. Mark was a true sports fan; playing football and running track at MCHS and was an avid OU football and basketball fan. However, his favorite athletes were Dustin, Cooper, Capri, Calli and his many nieces and nephews. He loved helping any and all that would ask and to watch them compete and excel in as many games/matches he could attend. He was also an avid and enthusiastic outdoorsman. His brother, David's fondest memories of him are those they created hunting, fishing, camping and cooking around the camp fire together.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, John David and Morene, his mother and father in-laws Bill and Sue Nelson, and his son, Mark Landon Nichols. He is survived by his wife: Linda, stepson Dustin Faulk, his brother and sister in law David and Diane Nichols. He is also survived by grandchildren: Cooper, Capri, and Calli Faulk and their mother, Nicki,. His nieces and nephews Kelli Nichols, Katie Nichols, Sunny and Terry Swopes, Summer and Luke Epps, Sky and Anthony Winn, Philip, Greg, Brittani, Perri, and Brett Nelson, Chelsea and Jack Lake, Madison and Kyle Phillips, Derek and AnhThu Nelson, Mara and Cade Davis, Kirstin and Meaad Muse. Other survivors include great– nieces and nephews: Evie Nichols, Landon, Jackson, Mason and Gabe Swopes, Gracie, Zoie, Sadie, Mollie, Macie, and Finn Epps, Remy Winn, Hatti Jo And Finley Nelson, Layne and Lily Stanfield, Logan, Harper, and Keagan Phillips, Israel Nelson, Zara Davis, and Kruze and Aleksi Muse.
A celebration of the wonderful life of Mark Alan Nichols will be held Monday February 21, 2022 at Meadowood Baptist Church located at 2816 Woodcrest Drive in Midwest City, Oklahoma. A reception will follow in the church Fellowship Hall.

I grew up with Mark and his older brother David in Midwest City. We all logged many a mile on our bikes between our houses and the local TGandY store. Mark was a great guy
