Pamela "Penny" Hoskinson

Pamela (Penny) K. Hoskinson (Phillips): 9/28/48 – 8/22/25

Penny was born Pamela K. Phillips on September 28, 1948, to Steve and Oleta Phillips in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Spending her younger years across Oklahoma City Oklahoma, Lawton Oklahoma, and Dallas Texas before her family settled into Liberal Kansas. During her High School years, she had a ton of fun showcasing her beauty with pageants and modeling for local department stores. Penny was a proud member of Liberal High School, Class of 1966. Following her graduation, she attended Emporia State University.

In 1967, Penny was married to Mike Hoskinson. In 1974, they brought into the world their first pride and joy, Kim. In the following year, 1975, they brought into the world their baby boy Sean. Throughout the years, life took them around the country. Giving her an opportunity to establish many decades of friendships across Peoria Illinois, San Francisco California, Omaha Nebraska, and Camdenton Missouri. In 1989 she finally made her way back to Oklahoma to settle down in Midwest City.

After moving to Midwest City Oklahoma, Penny took on a career with Tinker Federal Credit Union. Working her way from a Bank Teller to finishing a 25-year career in their Accounting Department. After retiring from TFCU, she spent a significant time taking her accounting skills to help Crutcho Farms continue to thrive and grow before finally retiring to enjoy even more time with her family.

Penny made her way to heaven on August 22, 2025. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Steve and Oleta Phillips and her brother Larry Phillips. She leaves a legacy behind with her daughter Kim Griffith of Austin Texas, son Sean Hoskinson and his wife Wendy of Midwest City Oklahoma, 3 wonderful grandchildren Sami Gronquist and Myles of Harrah Oklahoma, Jacob Hoskinson and Maddie of Midwest City Oklahoma, Megan Griffith and Will of Houston Texas and numerous cousins and family members across the nation.

A Memorial Service will be held on at 10:00am, Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Barnes-Friederich & Pope Funeral Home. If you will be attending the Memorial Service, please 'come as you are'. No need in dressing up. Penny wanted this to be a casual celebration.
