On Friday, October 3, 2025, Robert Lee Flaherty, loving husband and father, passed away at home at the age of 86.
Bob was born on June 25, 1939, in San Jose, CA to Clarence and Pauline (Sears) Flaherty. He served in the United States Navy from 1959 to 1965. He worked as Signalman for the Southern Pacific Railroad for 32 years. On June 24, 1984, he married Dorothy A. Brown. They raised one daughter, Kdonna Martin and two sons Robert R. Flaherty and Kenneth L. Flaherty.
Bob was an active member of Eastwood Baptist Church and enjoyed helping out whenever he could.
Bob was proceeded in death by his father, Clarence and his mother, Pauline, and 3 sisters and one brother. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, his 3 children, Kdonna, Robert and Kenneth, his sister, Pat and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
