Norma Ann Avery

Norma Ann Avery (Land), 80, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025.
Born and raised in Oklahoma, Norma lived a life filled with warmth, kindness, and love for her family and community. A former beauty queen with a radiant smile and generous heart, she later dedicated many years of service as a secretary at Mid-Del Vo-Tech, where she was admired for her professionalism and compassion.
Norma loved animals and always had a soft spot for any creature in need. Her home was often a place of laughter, love, and care-reflecting the same warmth she shared with all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Garry Avery; her parents, Ann and Samuel Land Sr.; and her son, Trent Avery.
She is survived by her daughter Christy DeWitt; daughter Desiree Doscher and her husband David Doscher; grandchildren Samantha Doscher, Jessica Doscher, Ryder DeWitt, Gage DeWitt and his wife Kaylee DeWitt and Sawyer DeWitt; brother Sam Land and his wife Suzanne Land along with many nieces nephews and cousins. She was also looking forward to becoming a first time great grandmother.
Norma will be remembered for her grace, humor, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
